Objective(s):
To increase brand awareness of Unilever products.
Delivery:
- Simply teams spent four days at each of the seven ASDA supercentres across the UK, demonstrating a variety of Unilever products including Dove hand cream, Sunsilk hair care ranges and Vaseline creams.
- Simply provided beauticians to give hand, shoulder and head massages to customers shopping in ASDA supercentres.
- Staff were briefed to discuss benefits of the products with customers whilst carrying out the 5 minute massage. Promotional goody bags were also distributed with a view to creating brand awareness and increasing sales.
- Simply sourced equipment from beauty salons in order to create a relaxing atmosphere and appointed an event manager to co-ordinate each of the roadshows.
- Qualified and insured face painters and hair braiders were also on hand to entertain children whilst their parents enjoyed a treatment.
Outcome:
ASDA reported a complete sell-out of all products in stores throughout the event and increased sales following the brand exposure. |
